Resource Conservation & Open Space (RCO) Zone

Purpose: The RCO Zone is intended to provide for permanent open spaces in areas of the community which exhibit significant vegetation, scenic qualities, wildlife or recreation potential.

Development Standards: All uses in the RCO Zone are subject to development standards contained in the Lindsay Zoning Ordinance. Below is a summary of some of these standards. Note that the Zoning Ordinance may contain more details regarding these standards and should be consulted prior to pursuing a project in this zone.

Setbacks:

No limitation, except as may be required under Site Plan Review or a Conditional Use Permit.

Parking:

The Zoning Ordinance requires every new use to provide a certain number of parking spaces in a properly designed and constructed parking lot.
