counseling, substance abuse programs, etc.
Healthy Start
Program providing assistance, counseling, etc. for
children, adults, pregnant women.
Thunderbolt
Program offering alternative to formal litigation
regarding juvenile offenders.
Friendly Neighbors
Organized meetings within a given neighborhood to
create a friendly environment and encourage neighbors to
work together.
Neighborhood Watch
Organized watch program encouraging neighborhoods to
become involved in crime prevention through cooperative
group efforts.
G.R.I.P. Counselling
Counseling aimed at "at risk" juveniles for the
prevention of gang affiliation.
Teen Zone
After school program designed to keep juveniles off the
street. Juveniles have numerous activities in which they
may participate.
Bike Rodeo
After school program designed to keep juveniles off the
street. Juveniles have numerous activities in which they
may participate.
M.A.D.D.
LDPS works closely with Mothers Against Drunk Drivers
to keep offenders off the streets by aggressive patrolling
and numerous DUI checkpoints throughout the year.
