Sweet Brier Plaza: The Sweet Brier Project is a multi faceted project involving several different entities. and several different funding sources. These town homes were marketed and sold by TDM Enterprises and were primarily sold by Roger Cortez, realtor. Adjacent to the Sweet Brier Town Homes, the City of Lindsay constructed the Sweet Brier Plaza, which will consist of a 1.3 acre park, with park open space, an open sidewalk promenade or Paseo, a central community plaza, complete with band stand and interactive water features. This Sweet Brier Plaza contains a large Mercado or market place area, which is constructed out of huge stone columns that form a square of vine covered arbors to provide shade for activities like farmers markets, craft fairs and other community events. This entire project was completed in late 2002 and dedicated on April 1, 2003.
