PICKLEBALL COURTS
Enjoy Lindsay's Pickleball Courts at the Wellness Center!
Court Use
- All members and guest must check in at the front desk.
- Courts are intended for pickleball play with proper equipment only.
- Play at your own risk. Surface may be slippery.
Protect the Courts
- Wear proper footwear. Non-marking shoes only.
- Batting, kicking, or throwing balls against fence is not permitted.
- Skateboards, bicycles, skates or rollerblades, etc. are NOT PERMITTED on courts.
- Food, gum, alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited.
- Animals are prohibited. No non-service pets allowed.
- Climbing on fencing or nets is prohibited.
Court Etiquette
- Courts are available on first come, first serve basis for both doubles and singles play.
- If courts are full and players are waiting, court time is limited to 20 minutes.
- Players can rotate back onto courts as many times as they desire.
- When courts are full, waiting players may place paddles next to the net of a game in play.
- 4 paddles down: all players leave court to those waiting.
- 2 paddles down: the winning team may stay on, or the waiting players may choose to play singles.
- Double stacking of paddles (playing a game while having a second
- paddle waiting on another court) is not allowed.
- An individual may not hold a court when players are waiting.
- Player’s bags should remain out of the playing area.
- If over 4 players waiting, play shall be 2 on - 2 off.
- Players and spectators should not walk across or behind a court during play.
- Noise should be kept to a minimum.
- Foul language, inappropriate behavior, and abuse of facility will not be tolerated.
- Exercise courtesy, respect and good sportsmanship at all times.
- All non-players and equipment should be in off-court areas only.
- Remove all trash at conclusion of play.
- The Lindsay Wellness Center is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items.
- No private paid instructions or classes allowed on courts without permission of Lindsay Recreation Department.
- Programs and activities prescheduled thru the Lindsay Recreation Department will have priority.
