Military Banner Program

The City of Lindsay is proud to provide the Military Banner Program. Our banners pay homage to our Veterans, contribute to the community’s quality of life, and add a special patriotic character to our City.

APPLICATION DATES: The City of Lindsay will be accepting applications from Monday, February 23, 2026 to Friday March, 20, 2026. Please note that there are a limited number of poles remaining in the City; applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

COST: The cost of the banners is $125, covering all costs.

BANNERS: The banners will be displayed year-round until they are no longer serviceable, with an estimated expectancy of 5-7 years. At that time, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the banner and purchase a new one if you wish.

ELIGIBILITY: To qualify, the Honoree must be a current or past member of our United States Armed Forces. The Honoree must have lived or be currently living within the City of Lindsay area, as defined by the boundaries of the Lindsay Unified School District. Lastly, the Honoree’s discharge from military service must be honorable.
