Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

For the past several years, our department has proudly participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), a statewide movement that unites law enforcement agencies across Northern California in support of Special Olympics. The Torch Run provides an opportunity for law enforcement to promote a positive, civic-minded presence while giving back to our community in a meaningful way.

Through fundraising efforts and community events, the Torch Run raises vital funds for Special Olympics Northern California, helping support programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Beyond the financial impact, the Torch Run fosters lasting relationships between law enforcement officers and Special Olympics athletes built through shared events, encouragement, and cheering our athletes on as they compete.

Our continued involvement reflects our commitment to service, inclusion, and community partnership, and we are honored to stand alongside Special Olympics athletes year after year.
