Autism Awarness Patch

Since 2022, the Lindsay Police Department has proudly sold Autism Awareness Patches as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting understanding, acceptance, and inclusivity for individuals with autism and their families. Offered annually in recognition of Autism Awareness Day on April 2, the patch is sold during the month of April.

The sale of these patches helps spark important conversations, raise awareness, and demonstrate our department’s dedication to serving all residents with compassion, respect, and professionalism. It reflects our continued efforts to build trust and understanding and acceptance of people on the spectrum and their families.
